What Is Red Light Therapy?

  • Red light therapy (RLT) is a treatment that can help skin, muscle tissue, and other parts of your body heal. It exposes you to low levels of red or near-infrared light. Infrared light is a type of energy your eyes can’t see, but your body can feel as heat. Red light is similar to infrared, but you can see it.

  • Red light therapy may help with:

My Red Light Therapy Protocol

  • Wake up, tongue scrape, oil pull for 15 minutes in front of my Koze red light, then brush teeth after

  • Expose as much skin as possible to the red light

  • Easy to do light static stretching in front of while sitting on the floor

  • Sunlight within first 10 minutes of waking Is optimal for sleep and circadian rhythm

  • This replaces sunlight for me since I am up before sunrise
